This is the core phase of the tour, where participants spend most of their time in the west of Lofoten, visiting the picturesque fishing villages and capturing iconic views. A professional guide, who is a landscape and wildlife photographer (e.g., Eric), will provide insights into the area's history and best photo opportunities.
- Hamnøy: An optional photo stop for approximately 15 minutes. This is one of the iconic villages to capture.
- Sakrisøy: This serves as a break time for approximately 1 hour. During this stop, there is a recommendation to stop for lunch at Anita Seafood (not included in the tour price, costs 15-20 euros). They offer options like fish soup, fishmonger, coffee, and cakes.
- Reine: An optional photo stop for approximately 15 minutes. Reine is described as a picturesque fishing village and a key location to capture.
- Skariskøya: Another stunning village included in the photo tour. The tour is designed to discover the beauty of Reine, Hamnøy, and Skariskøya, learning about the history of the area and how people lived.
Definitely the best way to see and photograph the islands.
